Hi! My name is Ana-B. I am a speed talker, a painter, a lover of languages, a cantor, a writer, an auto-didactic cook, a book worm, a wanna-be-runner,  a slow driver, a dragonfly charmer, a movie addict, a port sipper, and a lover of people. Here thee find the musings of a personal memoir and lifestyle blog where I write about faith, family, food, fun, fashion and more. I  love all things smart and blogging is my new experiment in communications.

My life is God centered and driven and I have two amazing children plus a son in law that I claim as my own.  I am happily married to one very spirited man of Iberian descent and we live in Paradise:  Florida is our home. Portugal is our home.  This is our family:

Life is kind of perfect including the hiccups. I am preparing for a pilgrimage in Portugal later this year and my perfect mornings begin with a walk/run. Like many in my age group, I love mani's and pedi's, but somehow find it difficult to include them into my routine.


I am passionate about eating real food!  We buy fresh and local as much as possible; always missing the Iberian delicacies. We enjoy our meat and eggs from local farms and markets that raise their animals on pasture and yes, we eat real butter and as much organic produce as we can afford!

I would like to be  obsessed with shopping, but I need to stay under budget.  I love fashion and frequently design and have my clothes tailored to my look and I’m always interested in seeing the latest trends.


Blogging has opened up many exciting doors of opportunity. I am too new to claim any  kudos! 

When I’m not online, which is an increasingly rare occurrence, I stay creative.
